About

I'm Kristin Rule, a print graphic designer working as Callisto Design Studio. I design the pieces organizations put in people's hands: annual reports, conference guides, ad campaigns, logos, trade-show banners, and flyers.

Most of my client work has been for associations and nonprofits, including seven years at the National Association for Music Education, where I designed everything from a 44-page program guide to three successive Music In Our Schools Month identities. I also work with professional firms, medical and education groups, and community organizations.

I work primarily in Adobe InDesign, with Illustrator for logos and infographics and Photoshop for image work, and I carry a job from concept through client rounds to press-ready files. I'm comfortable with the unglamorous parts of print, including bleeds, spot colors, large-format output, and file packaging, and with turning the same idea into six ad sizes and a set of web banners.

I'm currently looking for a remote graphic design position where I can bring this print experience to a team. If you'd like to talk, get in touch.
